Back in the Saddle

 Well it's been about 4 months since the last time we did some work on this album. I really got a bit stuck creatively and the vagaries of life just pretty interrupted the process.... two jingle projects and some live gigs etc.

I've decided to bring in two buddies to help me with this project...Othniel Lewis on Keyboards and Karl Gibson on bass...you can hear the results on "I shot the Sheriff".

We went to Ottey's house and after a long discussion about the project went at "I shot the Sheriff". The guys are great...they got the concept quickly and went at it enthusiastically. After a while  I left them programming the MPC and getting very excited. I resolved to go into the kitchen to cook some Maggie Chicken noodle soup for Ottey as he had a rehearsal and performance later and I did not want him to be distracted while he was working.

I am really excited about them coming on board the project. The album may be finished by the end of August.
