Progress so far...

 Well I have 3 1/2 tracks so far..."No Woman No Cry" is the most complete..."Waiting in Vain" needs a melody...so far the album is leaning to an easy listening vibe...very true to my roots in the musical approach of Earl Klugh..a guitarist I have enjoyed and admired for many years.

Heard some George Benson this weekend and thus you hear the electric guitar approach in "Is this Love".

Have to buckle down and finish putting on the framework for the rest of the tunes by the end of this week...this leaves the following tunes:

• Turn Your Lights Down Low
• So Much Trouble
• Exodus
• Get Up Stand up
• Redemption Song
• Concrete Jungle

This album presents me with the following challenges:

• The gall and arrogance required to believe that one can  interpret and rearrange the music of Bob Marley
• Playing Bass...haven't done so in years...since the late 1980's...my fingers hurt terribly
• The temptation to carried away with drum programming...masking my disappointment at not having live drums
• A return to being primarily a guitarist...one who is a legend in his own mind...still living off of practice sessions from over 20 years ago.
