Seretse started writing this song in December in the midst of news of a worsening financial crisis and and terror attacks in Mumbai. The Dow Jones had lost 1.3 Trillion in a day and everything in 2009 looked bleak.

It started as a woe is me "the world is fallign apart" type of song and then moved quickly to become a love song in the midst of hard times. A kind "How to" manual on keeping your head screwed on when the chips are down.

Stuck for a second verse and busy with other things in January, Seretse called on the songwriting abilities of Nicolé Sharpe in order to finish the second verse and present the song to a visiting music publisher from New York. The publisher liked what he saw so work started on recording the demo.

Fabian Pinkney of the band "Gas Money" was called in to re-record Seretse's vocals and Nicolé sang and gave vocal advice (she's also a vocal coach).

With a sprinkling of background vocals from Seretse & Jodi the result is what you hear right now.

Now the question is should we continue working on it or hand it another producer to finish it? Some recommend going reggae...
